Thanksgiving: Stop Whining and be Thankful

  .
For years, people have celebrated Thanksgiving. I feel that most teenagers don’t act thankful for what they have. They constantly complain that they don’t have what they want. Honestly, this sickens me. Recently, a student at my school was complaining about how he didn’t get a game that just came out. He said,” My stupid mom didn't get me that game; she never does anything for me".

I felt like reaching out and slapping him. Just because she didn’t get you the game you wanted doesn’t mean that she’s stupid. She buys everything you need. If you feel that she doesn’t do everything for you, give her all of the stuff she has bought for you. Give her your clothes, all your games that you seem to cherish so much, and how about you move out. If she really doesn’t do anything for you, you would be a naked, broke, homeless person. Stop complaining about your game and say thank you, stop whining, and be thankful.

Unlike this little unappreciative little jerk, I am actually thankful for the things I have, such as a house, a family, some clothes, and food. I am thankful that I am even alive. This little punk probably isn’t even thankful for that. I could go on and on for hours of what I am thankful for, but I won’t.

All I ask is that everyone is thankful for what they have.
