These days people seem to act like their thankful for everything and everyone, but as soon as 12:00 am. hits there out shopping for sales. "Really!?!" Black Friday is not even a holiday and millions of people basically "celebrate" it. After Thanksgiving it is the shopping day of the season that everyone has been waiting for. People who shop for sales on Black Friday spends all their money, wastes family time, and are completely insane putting them and their family in danger. Also, this years annually Black Friday sale was totally out of whack because all the stores started opening up their doors to shoppers on Thursday night calling it Grey Friday. "Come on people, are you nuts. Not even enjoying your family time because you are preparing for the shopping trip to different stores. What was the point of even having your Thanksgiving if you can't even sit down and enjoy it."
Black Friday is such an overkill to Thanksgiving. People don't realize that everyday isn't promised for everybody and why would you waste that time out shopping on Thanksgiving night when you can enjoy your family's quality time together while you have it. Just accept the fact that your family is definitely more important than getting an awesome deal on what... a flatscreen t.v. for $300.00 less or buy two shirts get one free. Its just a little bit money less.
In this article it tells you about what stores did and why they did it on Black Friday. It says that retailers chose to open up their doors at midnight because it drew a younger crowd that likes to party and shop rather than getting up early in the morning. I understand why stores did that, but I can't believe that people actually got out and went shopping for those deals at midnight instead of spending quality family time. It also talks about how the retail stores try to lure shoppers away from the internet and back into the stores. It seems like the retail stores just wants customers to shop in the stores so they can get pay a little more cash for their items which causes more harm to other customers from all the people there. It is just too chaotic to shop just because everything is on sale 25% off, 50% off, or 75% off. "Why would you put your life in danger for some sales. Really? Is it that necessary?
