The Symbols Of Love

There are many symbols of love, some good, some not so much. One common symbol is the rose. It is probably the most common symbol. the rose is a common and famous symbol. It is used throughout history, whether it be paintings or poetry, it is the most famous symbol of love.
The second symbol of love is the valentine (heart). It is a contraversal symbol, it is the main symbol for the holiday Valentines Day, in which almost everything is heart shaped, such as chocholate boxes. The heart symbol has been used as a love symbol ever since the times of Ancient Greece.
These two symbols are the most common, most used, and most recognised symbols thatare used to depict love.

Love Shines Bright

What do you think of when you look at a light bulb? This may seem unusual but i see a light bulb as a symbol of love. People would question all the reasons that's ridiculous but i can explain to you why it can absolutely be a great symbol of love. Like love, without any energy the light would burn out and die. To keep love strong you have to put in an effort or it would fade away. The more energy you give to a light the brighter it gets, the more effort you put in to love the stronger it becomes.
A light can also teach us that you only have so long to live so give as much love as you can before time runs out. A light can only shine for so long before it dies and you can only give love until your life ends. A light just sits on the table you walk past day after day, and it does nothing. But once you make contact and flip the switch the light shines.
Just like our love, we see someone in need of love and until we make contact love dies out. We can learn allot about love from a light bulb, you only have love for so long so make it last. Don't waste your time giving your love to someone who wont put the effort into loving you. Only turn on your light when you know its right because when it dies its gone forever.

I Pinky Promise

Why do people automatically assume that a heart is a symbol of love? You are probably thinking why would I pick this picture to show a symbol of love. Well, pinky promises can show different meanings for love. According to this article it states, "Whatever the origin, history seems to recognize that, while the finger is the smallest, It holds an important significance." I agree on this article about pinky promises because if you are in a relationship with your soon to be significant other I believe you guys should pinky promise your future together. Your love should be an important significance to both of you love birds and you shouldn't think you have to buy these materialistic things just to make your "love" special. You don't need to get a girl flowers just because it's Valentine's Day. Also, they shribble up and die. Just get a card and say something from your heart, that would really mean something to a girl. Don't get her diamonds because they are just on her finger relaxing and they cost so much money. My grandma always said, "You don't need to break the bank, just to make someone love you more." That saying really means something because you basically are spending money on buying HER some DIAMONDS just to prove you love her. I'm not saying you don't have to buy diamonds for her, but just make sure you tell her the reason why you bought them. Don't just say I love you so much so I bought this diamond for you. Prove to your significant other that your love is truly real because of your pinky promise that you made to eachother. You made a comittment that you guys both agreed on and would keep. Make your love special and really mean something in the end. Holding hands and kissing and telling the other person you love them isn't true love. It's when both of you make a commitment and lock pinkies together to really show you guys have something special. "I Pinky Promise!"

Symbol of love:Heart

A heart is normally a symbol of love. Just one quick question how did this heart(above) become this heart (below)? If you look at the first one its sort of ugly and bloody. So ya, it looks pretty disgusting. The one next to it though is pretty and pink. I don't exactly get how that happened.
I do think that, if you picture the lovely and not human one, than I think it could still be a symbol of love.As said in this article, the "vein of love," ran directly from the heart to the tip of your third finger of your left hand which is where we wear our wedding rings. So whenever you touch hands with your loved one, the love for each other fill each others entire body. For one thing it's beautiful. Isn't that what you think of each other? Also it is very fragile like your relationship. Say or do something and it could either, one make your relationship very awkward or two ruin it and you break up. Also some people say it means that the person you love will always be in your heart. Also Cupid's arrow has a heart at the end of it. Which normally means love at first sight.

Many things are symbols of love but, none as puzzling as this one I mean seriously look at it! It's gross!

Why A Rose?

Many people say roses are the ultimate symbol of love. I disagree with these people. In this article there are many sentences and words that support that the red rose is the symbol of love. But I still disagree.

One reason would be that a rose is a material item. I believe love should not be about material items, like roses. If you have to be given roses to know someone loves you than you might not love them enough. I also believe that love should not be symbolized by getting someone a dozen red roses, its should be symbolized by the actions they make and how you treat one another.

Also roses die. Someone could take the rose dyeing as their love dying. Roses over time shrivel up and die! Do you want that to happen to your love? NO! You probably don't... hopefully.

This is why I believe roses should not be a symbol of love.

What Is Love?

Love is when you are able to look at someone and smile for no reason. It's when you can find yourself in another person. It's not just a cute relationship with kissing and hand holding. It's when you are committed to spending the rest of your life with that person and sharing everything with them.
When I see someone who claims they love another person, I really wonder if they could behonest and trustworthy with them. To be able to share everything with them and to listen to them. I hate seeing couples who flaunt their so called 'love' out to everyone by kissing or hand holing. Sure, it's okay to do those things, only with the person you love. Not a 13 year old kissing a 15 year old. That's not love! That's sick and retarded! At the young age I am I don't really know what love is. However, I do know what common sense is and I have enough of that to know not to tell any random middle school sweet heart that I love them.
Love is friendship. Best friends usually seem to make the best couples. The bond between two friends is like no other.
Love is feeling safe and being able to share your inner most fears and insecurities with one special person.
As just a child, love is a complex thing for me. However, I like to look at my dad and his girlfriend. That's really the only example of true love I've ever had. She lives really far away. All the way in San Fransisco my dad is able to keep a real relationship from Los Angelas. It's been 4 years. I admire how they talk on the phone 24/7. I think that's true love.

Why Would This Be Banned?

Banning books can be understandable if for the right reasons. This article included a list of 10 books challenged or banned. Another article included a list of some other books that were also banned or challenged. I agree with some of the books on the list, but I strongly disagree with many of the books on the list. Some of them being Bridge To Terabithia, Twilight, and also And Tango Makes Three.
I disagree with Bridge To Terabithia being on the list for one main reason. This reason being as stated in the article "Reasons for being challenged: Occult/Satanism, offensive language, violence." First off satanism, really i mean the main character uses his imagination to have an "adventure" with a friend, and later on with his sister. He imagines mystical creatures how does that support satanism, he is a young boy with a very exciting imagination. I believe Bridge To Terabithia should NOT be on the list of banned or challenged books.
As well as the book i mentioned above Twilight should also not be on the list of banned or challenged books. " Reasons for being challenged: Religious viewpoint, sexually explicit, unsuited to age group." The sexually explicit part i can agree with but the religious viewpoint? As far as i can remember there was nothing about religious views in the novel. I understand it can be unsuited to age group but seriously junior highers should be able to read these books and I'm pretty sure there aren't gonna be Twilight books at an elementary school.
Lastly I disagree with And Tango Makes Three. This children's story is about two male penguins that hatch an egg together. I understand if you don't want your child learning about homosexuality, but how are they to accept people with those relationship views if they don't learn about how its okay to have those relationship views. Many parents do believe that their children should not be introduced to books of this kind at such a young age. If your child is not introduced to this particular relationship views they most likely wont learn to accept someone like the main characters in And Tango Makes Three.

Banning Books has Crossed the Line

I know some people who are book nerds might have noticed (or didn't) that your book might have been banned or challenged. Some books might have been banned because they seem offensive, insensitive, anti-family, satanic, sexually explicit or racist, or all of the above. People might be surprised reading this article and finding out what books have been banned or challenged over the past 30 years now. Mostly in the United States great books that students should have read, should have never been banned from the start because of the education it teaches and the background given whcih might been flagged as inappropriate for kids at some ages. But from this research you wouldn't believe what books has been banned or challenged.

Some of you may know or heard of, "Where's Waldo?" Well you might be surprised because that book is banned from the U.S. Just because one of the drawings show on one of the pages in the book. It was a beach scene and the "illustrator" put a lot of detail "a lot" into the drawing itself. You may know some beaches that are really crowded you see ordinary or insane things happening. Well just say the drawing involved a woman lying down on the sun (probably tanning) in a bikini. If you have been to a beach before you would understand what the detail that has been put into this drawing "hint hint" (bikini).

I highly disagree on why this book got banned. Yes I agree that illustration was a little inappropiate but it doesn't need to be banned. Have you ever seen a child not enjoying that book or pointing out inappropriate things (well hardly ever) but it keeps them busy. Do you want your child bugging you while you are filling out paperwork, studying for a test, getting ready for work, talking in a conversation. I take that as a "No" so if you agree on why this book should be banned, you might want to change your decision on disagreeing because you may never know when "Where's Waldo?" comes in handy.

Challenged and Banned

Many books all around the world get challenged or banned from being in school library's and sometimes even public library.  Most books are banned for exposing sexual content, violence, vulgar language or even because of religious words. Some of the many books that get challenged or banned are simply because of only a few words that were considered "inappropriate" for students. I read an interesting article explaining some books that have been banned or challenge during 2001-2011 and some i could agree are very inclusive to inappropriate things but some i found ridiculous.

The book Bridge to Terabithia, by Katherine Paterson was number eight out of five hundred and fifteen books in 2002. This book is about a little boy and girl who create a mythicle world in the forest by their house's using their imagination and an old tree house. Through out the story they battle abnormal creatures in their mythicle land. Again this is all in their imagination. Sadly at the end of the story the young girl dies from a terrible accident while swinging on an old rope across a small stream.

Book readers said this book had violent language, satanism, and violence. There was a little violence in this story but not enough to challenge it from students.  There was no more violence in the book than in a television show like The Powerangers. I was completely shocked when i read this fascinating book had been challenged and i am pretty sure many others were too.

Seriously get over it!

Tango makes three, by Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell, is a true story about 2 male penguins that find an abandoned egg and decide to adopt it. It was a best seller and everyone loved it. However, in 2008 it was banned after a complaint about the homosexual storyline.

What I have to say to that is, Deal with it! I mean you have got to be kidding me. Its a book about penguins. At least they sugar-coated it with PENGUINS.This type of stuff is really happening in the world. So a gay couple decided to write a book about there life.

The world is changing in many ways . Yes. That doesn't mean you should just avoid it. If you have a real problem with homosexuals then fine. You should not go and complain and whine about those things in the world though. Some people actually like reading this type of content. I mean seriously, its everywhere, just get used to it.

There are shows even like this book. Such as, Modern Family on NBC. It is pretty much a show about the life of a big family. There is a gay couple in this show and they have a little 4 year old girl. Although the dad has some not so nice moments towards them,  they still cope with it. This show also is a very good show. Julie Bowen and Eric Stonestreet won Best in comedy to represent Modern Family. I do believe they also won best in comedy for shows.

Either way, the world seems to be just fine with homosexuals. So why can't you? You don't have to read it, but when you ban a book that means no one can read it. Even the people that want to read it.

Ten Banned Books

Here are some books that are either currently banned or have been previously banned that are strangely on the lists.
 1. Green Eggs and Ham, by Dr, Suess.Ban now lifted.

Is It Really Nature?

As a repsonse to the banning of  Peter Parnell and Justin Richardson's children's book, "And Tango Makes Three" because of its apperently homosexual teachings of two male penguins working together to hatch a baby egg. To teach children that it is natural for two males to make a baby isn't right, even if it is just penguins, hatching an egg, in a cute story book. In the real world, that would almost never happen. Therefore, teaching that it's okay when really, it's not. This may be based on a true story but, it could be considered a miracle for a baby to be born with out a male and a female. Offspring cannot happen with out a male and a female. You may think I'm being unreasonable, and stressing about homosexual penguins isn't worth banning. But really, it is. It's teaching children falsely about nature. My intention is not to say anything against homosexuals, but really it's not nature and you cannot argue with that. The reason for banning this book is for the inproper teaching of two males producing offspring, which is imossible.

Tips on Childs' Development Process

Do you as a parent think your child is ready to take their training wheels off and start their life? Do you think they can take flight by themselves? Do you think they can back out of the drive way without your gas, braking, and steering?
Well if you know what I mean you'll understand what its like for your child to grow up. Here are some tips for your child and parents to growing up.

Toddler Stage - Your childs' childhood is so important of growing up. A tip to having the best childhood is letting them have an imagination. It doesn't matter how big and impossible it is. Let them create whats in their mind by bringing it out and showing it as a gift.

Walking Stage - You never know when your child is going to start walking and you
don't want to miss it. Their first steps means their growing up. When you see your child taking their first steps encourage them, but when they fall help them up; just remember don't help them all the time. Let them fall so they can learn to be independent not to crawl back to mommy and daddy and say I can't do it or when something is wrong. Let them walk by themselves.

School Stage  - When the right time comes for your child to go to school, it usually means (in their mind) "Yes, I can hang out with kids who understand what I go through, and do whatever I want, and not be the nice kid my parents usually see." It seems to be that way all the time but its really not. Just let your child do what they want (to a certain extent) but keep your eyes open. For girls pay attention to the boys who she befriends and her social life because the more social she is the more life she understands and "liking" starts. For boys pay attention to the other boys he hangs out with because all of the kids probably aren't the right type for your child. Just let your child be themself in school and keep encouraging them to get good grades and proceed to being the best that they can be.

Junior/Middle School Stage - Keep your eyes and ears open and be aware of the activities your child is in, the groups they hang out with, and just keep in contact with their teachers so you know how your child is doing. Just be prepared to step in because this is the stage that your child will start wondering off in their own direction that they
think is better than the right direction.

High School - Let your child be them and keep some distance, not too much, and not suffocating. Don't suffocate your kid because once you start your child WILL rebel on you because you are either so annoying and they can take it or you made them the laughing stock of the school by saying, "Bye sweetie have a great day at school, and don't forget to eat lunch." Rule #1 - Do not and I say DO NOT say any of those words to your child when they are in the teens. Rule #2 - If you take them to school do not drop them off in the front, drop them off at least a block away because it ruins their reputation. Rule #3 - Do not break Rule #1 or Rule #2. Also, just make sure your child is involved in some activities at school and keep your cool when they say they want to hang out after school, or "chill" with their friends. Just let them be a kid because once you finish senior year and graduate your child days are OVER.

After High School
  • Getting Your License
  • Going Off to College
  • Starting A Job
These all fall into the same category because they aren't really timed exactly in a child's life because some may start their job in high school or go to college or getting their license all at different times. Make sure your young adult knows what they are getting themselves into and how the real world is. Just prepare them safely, undestanding, and most of all, be a loving encoragement to them of taking baby steps into becoming an adult. Just remember let your child have an imagination. Let them fall and watch them get back up. Let them be them. Paying attetion closely. Keep your distance. If you follow these great tips you don't have to hesistate about taking the training wheels, letting them fly and spread their wings, and watching them drive away. Just be you and let them be them. And make sure you can say the words, "Ready, Set, I'm letting go." :')

Snooki Off The List?

After reading this article, I agreed with many things on the list EXCEPT the statement "Snooki's out,.." I disagree with this statement for one main reason. That reason being that it is okay to go out and party, get pregnant, and get drunk. I THINK NOT!

Before Snooki gets pregnant, on the show Jersey Shore she always gets drunk and acts like an idiot on camera. Then she gets pregnant! Way to say here teenagers get drunk, party, get pregnant, have baby, and party again. Talk about being a bad influence.

Many people think Snooki is just going to stop partying after she has her baby. But if I remember clearly her partying and drinking is an ongoing habit, or addiction, its very dificult to break habits, let alone bad ones. Now i'm not saying there is no way she will stop partying and drinking, im just saying there is a chance she wont stop partying and drinking. She is a bad influence for everyone who watches her show and for her soon to be child.

Snooki is a bad example for not just kids but everyone. She party's and to top it off she gets the most fake tans in the world. Now this may just be my point of view but many others would agree that Snooki should not be off of the list she should be first on the list. Next time your watching TV make sure to not watch anything involving Snooki unless you want to watch a show about how to be a bad role model.

Parties, Jail, Drugs = Charlie Sheen

Well I read an article about Charlie Sheen and I decided he is a really bad T.V. role model. Just last year his wife had an emergency restraining order against him to keep him away from her and their twin children, Max and Bob. A few weeks before this, he publicly went on a rant about his Two and a Half Men producers blaming them for his work problems and the TV show was shut down for the rest of the season.  These were not the first series of issues he had. As far back as 1990 he was abusing drugs and alcohol and even 'accidentally' shot his fiancee Kelly Preston in the arm. After this incident the relationship ended. He continued with his bad examples, exposed to the public. He has been in and out of rehab, arrested for abusing another girlfriend and even testified that he spent about $53,000 on prostitutes.  He was given a two years probation. During this time he was put in the hospital after a drug overdose violating probation. His Father stepped in and negotiated a deal to have Charlie sent to rehab instead of jail. This of course didn't help and he continued his drug, prostitutes and alcohol abuse. After his most recent public breakdown and rehab last year, Charlie does seem to be improving and keeping his life together. He does have a new show and hasn't had any more run in with the law in quite awhile. But, with his past history I believe in a few months we will being seeing him all over the news.

Top Three Worst TV Rolemodels

There are many inappropriate TV rolemodels but there are three TV characters that shouldn't be exposed to kids.
 1. Quagmire (Family Guy)- While some find his dirty jokes funny, he is the worst rolemodel out there. He constantly shown in bed with women and making dirty jokes. His jokes and dirty language can be replicated by children.
2.Roger(American Dad)- This bisexual and possibly pedifile alien is a horrible rolemodel who shouldn't be seen by young children. He is constantly hitting on a 14-yearold who lives in the same house as him. He is the second worst rolemodel for young children and teenagers.
3. Seth MacFarlane(creator of Family Guy/American Dad). While he isn't a bad rolemodel, he has created many bad rolemodels. Not only did he create them, he does all of the voices. He has created many horribe rolemodels for young children an teenagers.
These are the three worst rolemodels for children and teens.

Latest Gossip News

I know I'm not the only one who has a role model on televison, but you may think twice who he/she is. You may think of her as America's sweetheart, beautiful girl, great actor, nice singer, and lovely kind-hearted person, but the question is, "What does she do BEHIND the scenes?" Is Lindsay Lohan the sweet & innocent, pretty girl everyone thinks of her as? Common Sense Media has a list of worst TV role models for kids and I believe they left someone out. "Don't agree, check for yourself."
Lindsay Lohan started out famous from the age of 3, from featured over 60 commercial ads. Then she began the roll of Alli Fowler in Another World. She also played in Healthy Kids, which is a healthshow for kids. As a teenager she had a roll in two Disney Channel movies, Life-Size and Get a Clue. Then Lindsay Lohan featured in a remake of the Disney movie, The Parent Trap. Lindsay played a double as twin sisters which "actually" started her career off because of the bigger audience. She continued to grow her publicity more and more by making albums and hit songs, geting involved in charities, and acting in more movies. But that all started heading downhill when alchohol addiction, catfights with Hilary Duff, lesbian affairs, a case of a hit and run, smoking, and court trials, that came into Lindsay Lohan's life.
She absolutely should be known as the worst TV role model for kids because of what she does. Sometimes the rumors and pictures are fake and has a whole different meaning, but in these cases, they are true. This what really is happening to her behind the scenes when she is not in front of a camera or strutting her stuff down the street. Lindsay Lohan can not be looked up to because of what she has done. "Would you want your 5 year old daughter coming up to you and saying, I want to be just like Lindsay Lohan when I grow up. Uhhhhhh NO, I didn't think so." Lindsay Lohan is a television role model who doesn't suit little kids imagination or need to be in their child's development "thought process." If you disagree, who can you come up with for TV's Raunchiest Role Models. "You Decide!"

How To Be A Toilet.

This is not a task recommended for those who don't like butts, poop, pee, or other human waste.
1. Open Wide. It's going to be a big job.
2. Be understanding. You don't know what that person had eaten and the stomach pain they had gone through.
3. Be caring. No one likes having the cold water splash up on their butt in the middle of taking care of business.
4. Be inviting. Nothing says "This sucks" like sitting down on a cold toilet seat.
5. Get the job done. Be sure to flush away all the bad stuff to avoid being plunged.
And that's how to he a toilet.

Worst Role models on T.V.

I recently read an article on the top 10 worst role models. Here is my response to it.
The following post is mainly for parents, I am too young to have children, but I do babysit kids and I know what they should and shouldn't be watching.

If you have children, of course, you want them to grow up and become successful. Every child makes mistakes, but you wouldn't want your child to make a huge mistake because of you, would you? What is on t.v. in this generation is despicable. I would not want my child (again if I had one) to be influenced by the things that are shown to millions of people world wide. What a child definitely needs to know is that some things are meant to be seen only by their parents.

Let's say a six year old boy is flipping through channels and he suddenly spots an animation show. He already has seen other animation shows like "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Never land Pirates etc." so he probably will think this show is similar. What he doesn't know is the difference between Family Guy and an appropriate, kid friendly animation. He could get hooked to that show. Then maybe even start saying "catch phrases", that he has heard from the show, to his friends in school. If you have seen Family Guy you know that they sometimes say a curse word or two. What would happen if he started saying those words at school?

That incident could all be avoided if we pay attention to what our kids are watching. Those type of shows are bad for our children. They teach bad meanings and influence bad behavior, such as fighting, cursing etc. We need to also pay attention to the characters in the shows, they could be bad role models and soon our children could start acting like them.

Here is a list of bad role models that we should definitely look out for in shows.
  •  Remember that strawberry scented, pinkaholic, girl that owned a blueberry dog and a strawberry cat? Well believe it or not Strawberry Shortcake is a bad role model. She is because, if you compare her in 1990s and now, she had a complete make over. This could be a bad influence to your, most likely girl, child. Your daughter could watch this and then come to you and want to dress up in all pink, clothes, make up shoes etc. It could also make your child start to care about what she looks like. Sort of like what Strawberry Shortcake does.
  • Sam Puckett (Jennette Mccurdy) from ICarly is also a bad role model for kids because she is disobedient, doesn't care about her schoolwork, is in fact a bully in both physical and verbal ways, and doesn't listen to her mother.
  • Even though Wizard of Waverly Place ended they still show reruns on Disney Channel. The bad role model on that show is alot like Sam from ICarly except she is Alex (Selena Gomez). She doesn't listen to her parents, sometimes isn't a good friend to Harper (which is the good role model from that show), she also doesn't do well in school (as shown in many episodes she does get way too many detentions), and last she bully her brother.
  • Jade( Elizabeth Gillies) from Victorious is a bad role model also. I am surprised that Nickelodeon allows this, but on the show they have shown Jade making out with her boyfriend Beck which is not a good influence for 6-10 year olds that are watching this. They might think it's ok for them to do that also. Jade also doesn't care about anyone else. Also she doesn't care for Tori and bully's her often in the show too, but verbally.
One that I don't understand why it is on the website is Fred Figglehorn. Yes, his voice is annoying. Also yes, I wouldn't want my child to keep saying " Oh my Gammit!" to everything because that too would be annoying. However, that doesn't mean he's a bad influence. As long as he keeps putting positive messages out in to the world and keeps making kids laugh, he will be in fact a good role model. Also, something I just want to point out is, Annoying Orange is only an app and I think a couple of YouTube videos. He can't be a bad influence to your children, only if someone directly gives them an Ipod with the game open or directly tells them to go look up The Annoying Orange, there is no way he can be a bad influence.

I don't understand why Lil Wayne, Tyler The Creator, Demi Lovato, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Jaime Lynn Spears, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Tyga weren't on the list of bad role models. Lil Wayne as my main target. Just look at that photo. Obviously, just by looking at him, he makes a bad role model. Smoking marijuana and then promoting it in his songs targeted towards kids at the young age of 12 years old. Covered in inappropriate tattoos, harsh language, and themes presented in his music such as: "Blunt Blowin'" are all proof of why he is a bad role model. Next Tyler The Creator, who has his own TV show on Adult Swim, and is also a musician promotes drugs, alcohol, and sexual references. As does Tyga, Nicki Minaj, and Kanye West. Not only does Kanye West promote drugs, alcohol, and sex, he is also racist. Jaime Lynn Spears by getting pregnant at the whopping age of 16, Miley Cyrus by exposing herself inappropriately in front of her 8 year old audience. Selena Gomez by exposing herself sexually in her recent "Supreme" advertisement. In conclusion, parents need to start worrying about these musician/actors instead of worrying about Squidward being Selfish.

How to begin Archery

When most people here the word sports, they think of the common sports, Baseball, Football, and Soccer. Most people haven't discovered Archery, my personal favorite sport. If you want to become an archer, there are certain guidelines that you must follow. First, you must buy a bow. I recommend a bow with a draw-weight of 30, that is the standard beginner bow. Remember, draw-weights aren't the same when it comes to the modern compound bows and the classic recurve and longbows.I use a recurve ow with a draw weight of 60. Don't skip ahead to a heavy draw-weight, it takes time to build up the right muscles. If you use a classic bow, you will need a armguard to prevent the bowstring from cutting into your skin. When you nock an arrow, there will be a small metal indicator showing you where to clip the arrow on. When you go to draw the bow, you want to place your forefinger on top of the arrow and your other two fingers underneath the arrow. You want your thumb ontop of your smallest finger. You don't want to let go of the arrow, but to let the bowstring to slide out of your grip. Aslong as you follow these steps, you can become a archer.

How to Own a Pet Fish Without it Dying

Pets are a big responsibility. However, not as big as having a pet fish. In my experience, over my young life, I have had about 6 pet fishes. Everyone of them died in at least a week. It doesn't help that I also had a pet cat. Anyway, if you want a pet fish you better be aware of the needs it will take. Here are a couple things you might need to be the best fish owner you can be.

  • A fish of any type- just remember, some fishes don't get along so well (in case you're getting 2 fishies.)
  • a large bowl- only for 2 or less fish ( if getting more than 2 use a aquarium that fits the number of fish you are getting.)
  • A filter ( again depends on amount of fish). If only 1 just buy a fish net to take the fish out to clean bowl manually.
  • Fish food- get fish food that goes with your type of fish(es). You can ask the fish store employee for help if needed.
  • Marbles or rocks for the bottom of the bowl.
  • If you want to be fun with your fish get little decorations for your bowl.
Before putting your fish in you should make sure that the tank water is the appropriate temperature. When feeding the fish make sure you don't feed to much and you don't feed to little. Those are 2 ways I killed my fish. Don't ever have a different pet that likes to eat or play with the fish. My cat wanted to play with the fish so he scooped up the fish with its paw and plopped it on the floor. Poor Princess was dried up and dead by the time we got home. Clean your bowl every so often. Remember fishes do poop and pee like us,so their bowl will get dirty.

If this article helped then great and have a wonderful ( hopefully more then a week) life with your new pet fish. If not then keep searching for the right information for you.Wiki how.com also helps. Also what would really help is maybe looking up the type of fish you want. That way you can find the exact information on your fishes past and helpful tips to guide you and your fish down the easy path.

Monsters I.N.C.

Have you ever watched the fascinating movie Monsters I.N.C.? If you haven't I highly recommend it to you. In this great movie the two main characters are Mike and Sully. Mike is a small round monster with only one eye. Sully on the other hand is a very tall blue monster with purple spots on his body. Mike and Sully's jobs are, like any other fictional monster, to scare children. The company they work for is called Monsters Incorporated managed by Henry J. Waternoose.

Mike and Sully complete their job everyday as they're supposed to. There is one major rule though. "No humans are aloud through the doors of Monsters Incorporated." Henry would say. Unexpectedly one day a little girl named Boo followed Sully through the door thinking he was a giant kitty. Sully and Mike soon become attached to Boo, as if she was their daughter.

Randal is the main villain in the movie. He  is an anthropomorphic lizard with the ability to change colors or blend in with his surroundings, basically making him invisible. Randal does not like Boo or anyone else really and he always sucks up to the boss Henry. No one really likes Randal because of the way he acts.

Mike and Sully have to find Boo's home to return her safely back to her parents. Sully is really dreading having to take Boo home but in his heart he knows it's the right thing to do. He finds the right door leading from her closet to her room and finally takes her home. Sully says goodbye to Boo and sadly has to leave not knowing if he'll ever get to see her again.

How To: Make Homemade Peanut Butter Cups

Like thousands of other people in America, I love to eat Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. I also learned how to make them, well not as great as the originals of course. Some ingredients that you will need are listed as follows: Peanut Butter ( any kind) and melting chocolate or chocolate chips (melting chocolate preferred). Now that you have your ingredients here is how you make homemade peanut butter cups.

  • Step 1: Place a decent amount of melting chocolate in microwave safe bowl.
  • Step 2: Put your melting chocolate in microwave for 30 seconds and stir. Repeat step till chocolate is fully melted.
  • Step 3: Use a cupcake pan (any size) for the mold of the peanut butter cups. Make sure you have cupcake liners so the chocolate is easier to get out of wrapping.
  • Step 4: Place chocolate in the cupcake liner so that it only fills 1/3 of the liner.
  • Step 5: Then place how ever much peanut butter as you want, but make sure there is still a decent amount of room left.
  • Step 6: Now take the chocolate again and cover up whatever peanut butter is showing.
  • Step 7: place in fridge or freezer until chocolate is fully hardened.
Now that you have completed all the steps you can enjoy your homemade peanut butter cups.
